Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are key actors in the globalized politics of the twenty-first century, yet numerous aspects of their activities remain understudied. This workshop aims to bring together expertise from, inter alia, international relations, political science, history, sociology, political economy, cultural studies, and anthropology to shed new light on the roles of NGOs in contemporary global politics.
