Research Cross-disciplinary component 1. Territorial inequality and injustice : renewing contributions

Characterising – from different thematic fields and disciplines – the unequal forms of development at different levels within societies, and their underlying physical and social spaces. How to reconstitute the unfair ap-proaches that underpin these inequalities to lend a historical, social, political and philosophical perspective to the production and transformation of the contemporary social space. The aim is to reinterpret the notion of inequality coupled with that of injustice through the all-embracing transformations of the past 20 years, factoring in diverse temporalities and the notion of “tran-sition” in order to pinpoint elements of discontinuity and continuity in forms of inequality as well as in the way they are represented in line with various different types of mobilisation.
